Originally from Birmingham, Kathy received her advanced education at Birmingham-Southern College. Kathy’s professional career began with 20 years in the media industry (radio and television), but will end serving senior citizens. As director of a senior center for five-and a half years at the largest senior center in central Alabama, Kathy devoted her life to meeting the needs of senior citizens. Due to continuing education (Series 6, 63 and 65), Kathy, a Fiduciary, stands ready to help seniors find strategies to the problems that arise in retirement.
Kathy, a FRC (Federal Retirement Consultant), began her financial advisor career helping federal employees make wise, frugal retirement decisions. Now, Kathy helps investors in both private and public sectors.
In addition, Kathy is a licensed loan officer (License #212553), specializing in VA, FHA and Conventional mortgage loans; she is also licensed in Life and Health, and Property and Casualty.
Kathy has written many articles for the Montgomery Area Council on Aging, Montgomery Advertiser, and Alabama Gerontological Society on the subject of seniors, and published a monthly newsletter for seniors, called Archibald Friends. She has been a guest to promote senior centers on Time of Your Life, a weekly television show, and speaks and sings at many area churches, businesses and social clubs, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Kathy was the keynote speaker at Alabama’s State Capitol in Montgomery for the State Combined Campaign Salute to Seniors in 2005.
A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to Kathy in 2005 by Governor Bob Riley for her service to state, family and community.

Now a resident of Madison, Alabama, Kathy spends her free time with her daughter Leslie, grandson Konner and two dogs, Sallie, and Sassy.
